My husband and I were in the market for a pontoon boat so after going to a boat show and couple dealers as we pretty much knew what we wanted, we did some shopping online and came across this dealership. Tho it’s a 3 hour drive for us, we made a call to Ray and then went up to his location where we were amazed with the inventory from a used perspective and the inviting welcome we received upon arriving. Tammy showed us the pontoon boat we inquired about as well as took the time to let us see most all their inventory to make sure we were happy with our choice before buying and with the help of Ray we felt very comfortable in not getting a shady deal. He was very knowledgeable, honest and efficient with the sale. We are very pleased with our purchase and love our like new fishing barge. I would recommend and encourage anyone to buy from the family owned and operated Champion Motors of Arlington. We found a used Honda online that we like and when we test drove it we found it was everything Ray had posted on the website. The car was clean and in great condition. There was a repair that was going to be made (by Champion Motors) for warranty covered seatbeat issue but we didn't want to wait so we will take it to the Honda dealership ourselves. We feel that Ray was completely transparant about the entire transaction. There was no squabbling on the price and we both felt it was a fair deal. Thank you Ray! I had been looking at a particular car online . When I got to the lot, I wandered around a little bit then went to that Honda Accord to check it out. Nobody ever came running out of the building to say, "Hey, how 'bout this one, how 'bout that one...We got a great deal over here...." Nope. They just left me alone and it felt good. As I was walking to the building, Jesse stepped out...key in hand! I rate "friendliness" 4 points instead of 5. I think 4 is better in this situation than 5. I would have rated it 3, but 3 would not look good for my intent. A 5 (GREAT friendliness) is NOT what I want from a car salesman, ya know? I don't trust a 5. A 5 is a pest....You get the picture. No phoney 5s at Champion. No stupid haggling games either. You want the car? Here's the price. The car I bought is in GREAT condition and I bought it for less than Blue Book value. I paid them earnest money for them to hold the car until I come back to pay cash for the balance. After I paid them, after I had the receipt in my hand, I popped out with, "Oh, by the way: There's a few things bugging me. A dome light's burned out, there's no spare in the trunk, a door lock ain't quite right, I don't like the security lugs and there's an open recall on this car." They fixed it all without flinching.
